Safety Patrol

The Safety Patrol is an important part of our school. Some of the many jobs our Patrollers are responsible for each day include:
Raise and lower the flags in front of the school
Assist in the unloading of cars in the morning
Escort students from the cafeteria to the gym after breakfast
Escort students to their classrooms
Assist teachers in maintaining order in the lunchroom during breakfast
Assist teachers in maintaining order in the gym in the morning and afternoon
Assist teachers during dismissal
Escort students who walk to school down to the crossing guard at dismissal
Throughout the year, the Patrollers will participate in several fundraisers. The money raised goes toward equipment (badges, sashes, and rain ponchos), their trip to Washington, D.C. in June, and their end of year get together in May.
